This is the first work i've ever colored digitally, using Photoshop 7.0 and such, definitely not the best, but i'm pretty proud of my mouse colored work. So yeah, i've taken my first step into a larger world so to say. XD
Anyway the joke behind the image doesn't make much since unless you've seen Utena, Mai-hime, and understand the strange humor the people in my IRC channel have, but we all thought the roles of Utena and Anthy were more than fitting for Mai-hime's Natsuki and Shizuru. It's what I get for watching to many anime series with lesbian innuendo I guess. XP
I'm not partocular happy with the black outline, it came out to bold and I had to do a lot of digital corrections to it, and of course because it's me it's definitely not the most neat looking image, but hey, for beginners I guess it's alright. The background was a pretty quick difference cloud and spot light render, couldn't think of anything else to do to it. I probably put around five hours or more into coloring it over the weekend. Not sure what much there is to say, so I guess enjoy. ^^
